We put this coffee maker through extensive testing to determine how well it delivers on key factors like ease of use, brewing temperature, brewing time, and of course, taste of the final product. The key attributes of this Cuisinart Coffee maker are its fully programmable timer, dedicated temperature control components, included charcoal water filter for fresh-tasting coffee, and its 12-cup capacity which is suitable for a few people or a whole family.
Brewing Temperature
For any drip coffee maker, achieving an ideal brewing temperature is critical for maximum flavor extraction from coffee grounds. The industry standard recommended temperature range is between 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit. We used a digital probe thermometer to measure the brewing temperature from several pots of coffee on the Cuisinart Coffee maker.
